దసరా లోపు యాదాద్రి ప్లాంట్‌లో పూర్తి స్థాయి విద్యుత్ ఉత్పత్తి - సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఆదేశం
బొగ్గు కొరతతో యాదాద్రిలో రెండు యూనిట్లు నిలిచిపోయాయి; మహానది కోల్‌ఫీల్డ్స్, కోల్ ఇండియా నుంచి బొగ్గు తెప్పించాలని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించింది.
హైదరాబాద్: రాష్ట్రంలో విద్యుత్ పరిస్థితిపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి బుధవారం ఉన్నత స్థాయి సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు. దసరా లోపు యాదాద్రి థర్మల్ పవర్ స్టేషన్‌లో పూర్తి సామర్థ్యంతో విద్యుత్ ఉత్పత్తి జరిగేలా చూడాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
యాదాద్రి ప్లాంట్‌ను 800 మెగావాట్ల ఐదు యూనిట్లతో మొత్తం 4,000 మెగావాట్ల సామర్థ్యంతో రూపొందించారు. వాణిజ్య ఉత్పత్తిలో ఉన్న నాలుగు యూనిట్లలో ప్రస్తుతం రెండు మాత్రమే పనిచేస్తున్నాయి; బొగ్గు నిల్వలు తీవ్రంగా తగ్గడంతో 3, 4 యూనిట్లను నిలిపివేశారు. 21 రోజులకు సరిపడా నిల్వ ఉండాల్సిన చోట సుమారు నాలుగు రోజులకే బొగ్గు ఉంది.
ఈ లోటును పూడ్చేందుకు మహానది కోల్‌ఫీల్డ్స్, కోల్ ఇండియా నుంచి బొగ్గు తెప్పించాలని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించింది. బొగ్గు సరఫరాపై ఉపముఖ్యమంత్రి మల్లు భట్టి విక్రమార్క కేంద్ర బొగ్గు శాఖ మంత్రి జి. కిషన్ రెడ్డిని కలవనున్నారు.
దాదాపు మూడు నెలలుగా విద్యుత్ కొరత కొనసాగుతోంది; నిరంతర సరఫరా కావాలని పరిశ్రమలు కోరుతుండగా, రైతులు సబ్‌స్టేషన్ల వద్ద నిరసనలు చేస్తున్నారు. రాష్ట్రంలోని థర్మల్ ప్లాంట్లను తమ నేతలు పరిశీలిస్తారని బీఆర్‌ఎస్ ప్రకటించిన కొన్ని గంటలకే ఈ సమీక్ష జరిగింది.

CM Revanth Reddy orders full generation at Yadadri power plant before Dasara
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy held a high-level review of the state’s power situation on Wednesday and directed officials to bring the Yadadri Thermal Power Station to full-capacity generation before Dasara.
Yadadri is designed for 4,000 MW across five 800 MW units. Of the four units in commercial operation, only two are generating: units 3 and 4 have been shut because coal stocks are critically low. The plant has coal for about four days, against the 21 days’ stock it is meant to hold.
To close the gap, the government decided to source coal from Mahanadi Coalfields and Coal India. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will meet Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy on coal supplies.
Power shortages have now run for nearly three months, with industry asking for uninterrupted supply and farmers protesting at substations. The review came hours after the BRS announced that its leaders would inspect the state’s thermal plants.
