రూ.22,177 కోట్ల పెట్టుబడులకు ఏపీ కేబినెట్ ఆమోదం - మచిలీపట్నంలో గోవా షిప్‌యార్డ్ యూనిట్
ఈ పెట్టుబడులతో సుమారు 19,739 మందికి ప్రత్యక్ష ఉపాధి లభిస్తుందని అంచనా; నాలుగు కొత్త పోలీస్ కమిషనరేట్లకూ కేబినెట్ ఆమోదం తెలిపింది.
అమరావతి: ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎన్. చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు అధ్యక్షతన బుధవారం జరిగిన ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ మంత్రివర్గ సమావేశం రూ.22,177.84 కోట్ల పెట్టుబడులకు ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. వీటి ద్వారా సుమారు 19,739 మందికి ప్రత్యక్ష ఉపాధి లభిస్తుందని సమావేశం అనంతరం మంత్రి కొలుసు పార్థసారథి తెలిపారు.
వీటిలో అతి పెద్దది కృష్ణా జిల్లా మచిలీపట్నంలో రూ.8,000 కోట్లతో గోవా షిప్‌యార్డ్ ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్న నౌకా నిర్మాణ యూనిట్. దీని కోసం రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం 400 ఎకరాల భూమి, 1.7 కి.మీ. తీర ప్రాంతాన్ని కేటాయించింది.
తిరుపతి, గుంటూరు, కర్నూలు, రాజమహేంద్రవరంలో నాలుగు కొత్త పోలీస్ కమిషనరేట్లు, ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులు, పెన్షనర్లకు డీఏ పెంపు, అమరావతిలో శాసనసభ భవనానికి రూ.661 కోట్లు, రాజధాని ప్రాంత మౌలిక వసతులకు రూ.1,548.98 కోట్లకు కూడా కేబినెట్ ఆమోదం తెలిపింది.

AP Cabinet clears Rs 22,177 crore investments, Goa Shipyard unit at Machilipatnam
Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, on Wednesday approved investments worth Rs 22,177.84 crore, which are expected to create about 19,739 direct jobs, Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy said after the meeting.
The largest is a Goa Shipyard shipbuilding unit at Machilipatnam in Krishna district, with an investment of Rs 8,000 crore. The state has allotted 400 acres and 1.7 km of coastline for it.
The Cabinet also approved four new police commissionerates for Tirupati, Guntur, Kurnool and Rajahmundry, a dearness allowance increase for government employees and pensioners, Rs 661 crore for the Legislative Assembly building in Amaravati, and Rs 1,548.98 crore for capital region infrastructure.
