Indian Culture & Heritage

Dances, festivals, monuments and UNESCO sites.

India's eight classical dance forms are tied to regions: Bharatanatyam to Tamil Nadu, Kuchipudi to Andhra Pradesh, Kathak to north India, Kathakali and Mohiniyattam to Kerala, Odissi to Odisha, Manipuri to Manipur and Sattriya to Assam.

Heritage monuments come up constantly. The Ajanta and Ellora caves are in Maharashtra, Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh, Konark Sun Temple in Odisha and Charminar in Hyderabad.
